Heat Policy
Thermometers are fitted at the stadium, which will dictate the internal temperature of the stadium. These thermometers will be used as a guide, with the final decision made by the Venue Supervisor or mopst senior staff member on the night of competition.
- Should the internal temperature be between 30.0, and 34.9, an additional rest break will be introduced into the game.
- Should the internal temperature be between 35.0 and 39.9, an additional rest break will be introduced, in addition to shortened periods.
- Should the internal temperature be be above 40.0, the game will be called off, in line with the abandonement policies.
Replacement Players (Finals)
Should a team not be able to fulfil a full team (five for futsal and basketball, seven for netball) in finals matches, a team may make a replacement player application. A replacement player may only be considered if:
- The team are unable to fulfil a full team on the court.
- The team are unable to fulfil these requirements due to an injury in the team, with the injury occuring to a player registered into that team.
- The replacement player is not registered to another team, and the replacement player has filled-in, or played at least three games for that team.
- The replacement player application is submitted to La Trobe Sport in writing no later than 72 hours prior to the fixtured match.
